Lionel Messi Enjoys a Private Moment With Stunning Wife Antonella Roccuzzo
Lionel Messi enjoys some alone time with stunning wife Antonella Roccuzzo as the couple embrace aboard their luxury yacht in Ibiza
Lionel Messi relaxed with stunning wife Antonella Roccuzzo on Monday afternoon as the FC Barcelona ace enjoyed his final few days in Ibiza.
Messi has been granted an extended break after starring for Argentina at South American football tournament Copa América, and he appeared to be making the most of his time away from the Catalan capital while cruising the Mediterranean aboard a luxury yacht.
However the picturesque coastline took second place to childhood sweetheart Antonella as the couple lovingly embraced during an appearance on the boat's lower deck.
Placing his hands on her waist, Messi, 32, only had eyes for the brunette as they enjoyed a rare moment of relative privacy.
The footballer, who is expected to report for pre-season training within a matter of days, revealed his tattooed arms and legs while relaxing in a pair of patterned beach shorts.
Joining her husband, Antonella, 31, was appropriately dressed in a breezy orange and white summer dress that showed off her nicely toned legs.
The couple, parents to children Thiago, Ciro and Mateo, have been joined in Ibiza by Messi's Barcelona teammate Luis Suárez, Monaco midfielder Cesc Fà bregas and their extended families.
The superstars have been staying at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, which boasts of 415 'luxurious rooms and suites' on its website and labels itself the No 1 open air club on the island.
But their appearance on Balearic party island has not been without controversy after Messi was reportedly confronted by a drunken supporter who attempted to 'pick a fight' with the Barcelona superstar.
The Argentine's night out in Ibiza took a turn for the worse amid unsavoury scenes, with footage appearing to show Messi being escorted out of the busy nightclub over the weekend.
It is believed that there was no wrongdoing on Messi's part, and the potential situation was defused quickly.
A short video, posted on Twitter, shows the Barcelona ace being led out of the club whilst surrounded by a hoard of security guards.
With the mercurial forward's holiday almost at an end, the recent footage adds an unwanted element of drama before he rejoins Ernesto Valverde's squad.
However, a clip later posted by the same user shows Messi leaving the scene apparently unharmed.
Messi was denied a first international trophy at the Copa America, captaining Argentina to a third-place finish after beating Chile in the play-off.
