The Weeknd Drops New Single ‘Blinding Lights’ More XO. Just days after dropping the Metro Boomin-produced  “Heartless,”  The Weeknd serves up a second single, “Blinding Lights.” On the ’80s-inspired track, the Starboy calls out for a lover over a synth-heavy instrumental. “I’m blinded by the lights / No, I can’t sleep until I feel your touch,” he sings. Earlier this month, he shot a music video on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Abel also stars in a  commercial  for Mercedes-Benz’ EQC, which is soundtracked by “Blinding Lights.” The two tracks mark the first solo music from The Weeknd since his 2018 EP  My Dear Melancholy , which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Hawkins County highway impacted by landslides reopens HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. —  More than nine months after deadly landslides impacted two Hawkins county highways, those roads are now reopening. Residents are relieved Highway 66 is now back open and Highway 70 is set to open next week. Two landslides in February, washed away vehicles and killed a Jonesborough driver. Since then, residents have been forced to take a long detour. "It's just been terrible around here, going all the way around,” Thomas Pearson said. Where it takes 11 miles from here to Rogersville, it's 40-some miles around that way." The two highways are the only connection to grocery stores, health care and work for many people who live on the other side of a steep mountain ridge. New Johnson City ordinance restricts chaining up dogs outside JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. —  A new ordinance in Johnson City restricts the chaining of dogs and establishes an annual registration for animals. The ordinance takes effect on January 1st, 2020. Dogs will not be able to be kept on a pulley system in an owner's yard for more than 12 consecutive hours, and the dogs can't be tethered to a fixed post unless supervised. Famous Bald Eagle to Visit Marion Saturday Photo Credit: Gena Flanigen, American Eagle Foundation  A famous Bald Eagle is coming to Marion and you can meet him Challenger  was born in 1989 and turns 30 this year. He lives at the American Eagle Foundation, located at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. For the past 25 years, Challenger has traveled coast to coast performing free-flight appearances and gloved appearances at national sporting events, conventions, conference, galas, fundraisers, schools and other events. He will be retiring this year. Born in the Spring of 1989, Challenger was blown from a wild nest in Louisiana during a storm. He was rescued by humans, who proceeded to hand-feed and raise him. Unfortunately, he experienced too much human contact during his early years and became dependent upon humans for food. Unable to be released into the wild, Challenger was transferred to the Audubon Zoo of New Orleans. The zookeepers tried to release him
