Susan Boyle is reportedly being replaced on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions by 2011 winner Jai MacDowall.
SuBo’s place on the BGT spin-off series had been in jeopardy due to her packed schedule, so bosses chose to recruit another contestant, sources claimed.
Scottish singer Jai, 33, was apparently brought in by producers after successfully auditioning against 2014 finalist Lucy Kay, 30.
‘They didn’t want to be short of contestants and SuBo was looking unlikely to confirm her appearance,’ a source told
.
‘Jai was ecstatic and will be putting his heart into the show, in the hope of making it right to the end.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for ITV and Susan for comment.

Susan, who has sold more than 20 million albums since appearing on Britain’s Got Talent a decade ago, has a packed touring schedule due to her success.
‘Everyone would love for Susan and Diversity to take part,’ a source told  on Monday.

‘They are both huge stars and the producers understand Susan and Diversity have commitments.
‘It’s a testament to the success of BGT that both have become so massive and everyone wishes them all the best on their upcoming performances and tours.
Ant and Dec announced Susan’s involvement during the latest Britain’s Got Talent finale, which eventually saw war veteran Colin Thackery take home the £250,000 prize fund.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions sees the most notorious acts from the past 12 years go head-to-head, following the success of America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions is expected to air later this year.

7 British artists that are bigger abroad

New post 7 British artists that are bigger abroad Monday 5th March 2018 Future  KLF  member Bill Drummond decided to call his late-70s post-punk band  Big in Japan , and that group also introduced us to  Lightning Seed  Ian Broudie and Holly Johnson, soon to be of  Frankie Goes to Hollywood . The name was a pun on what had become a music magazine cliché about Western groups hitting pay dirt in the East, and there were plenty of examples at the time, from  The Beatles , to  Queen , to the  Bay City Rollers . All those groups were, of course, huge news here too, but across the history of pop there have always been British acts that who have found greater fame elsewhere, and sometimes at the expense of being almost completely unknown in the UK... North Korea tests completed Yongbyon nuclear reactor, say analysts

New post North Korea tests completed Yongbyon nuclear reactor, say analysts Image: Experts say recent satellite imagery shows testing has begun at the Yongbyon reactor North Korea has begun testing a nuclear reactor that could be used to produce weapons-grade plutonium, according to intelligence analysts. The country has been developing an experimental light water reactor at the Yongbyon Atomic Energy Research Centre for several years, but activity is said to have increased in recent months. Experts say recent satellite imagery shows the reactor has been structurally finished and there is evidence testing has begun. According to a report by intelligence analysts Jane's Intelligence Review, the imagery showed emissions on non-condensable gases from a stack at the reactor. Although the reactor could be used to produce weapons-grade plutonium, North Korea is believed to already have enough fissile material for several nuclear bombs. Construction of the...
