Will it be something special?
Universal has unveiled the first trailer for Last Christmas, inspired by the Wham festive classic hit.
The trailer, which stars Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Crazy Rich Asians' Henry Golding, debuted on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (August 13). We also have the first poster for the Christmas rom-com below.
Directed by Paul Feig and written by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings, the rom-com will feature music from George Michael, including the title track and previously-unreleased material.
Last Christmas follows Kate (Clarke) who works as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop and 'harrumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes', according to the official synopsis.
Enter Tom (Golding) who starts to break through her barriers around the most wonderful time of the year.
Deep into the trailer, Kate opens up to Tom in an emotional moment and reveals that she was sick and nearly died when she was younger. 'I'm just scared all the time. They just expect me to be normal and get on with life,' she says.
'There's no such thing as normal,' Tom replies. 'It's just, being a human being is hard.'
Back in January, Golding shared a first look at Kate and Tom in the movie, which will be released on November 8 in the US and November 15 in the UK
