DEAR DEIDRE: MY wife and I almost never have sex. She decided she no longer wanted it because she was scared of the children hearing us from the next room.
We’ve only had sex four or five times in the past year.

We have been married for 12 years. I am 40 and she is 39. Our two daughters are aged nine and 11.
I have never lasted longer than a minute and I can understand that it is hardly worthwhile for my wife to have sex for just 60 seconds.
We have not talked about it and now I am starting to feel increasingly distant from my wife. I think a sex life would help us to feel closer.
I don’t want our marriage to fall apart because we don’t get physically close any more.

Moving the bed might do the trick, plus sound-proofing tiles for the adjoining wall or curtaining to absorb any noise.

Man charged with murdering midwife Samantha Eastwood Image: Samantha Eastwood was reported missing by work colleagues at the Royal Stoke Hospital A man has been charged with murdering midwife Samantha Eastwood, whose body was found a week after she went missing in Stoke-on-Trent. Michael Stirling, 32, from Cromer Road, Stoke-on-Trent, will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court on Monday. Two other men, aged 28 and 60, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released on conditional bail while inquiries continue. Ms Eastwood was last seen when she left her night shift at the Royal Stoke Hospital at 7.47am last Friday, and officers investigating her disappearance found a body in a rural area near the city on Saturday. Woman gives birth to 38 children at age 37 A 37-year-old Ugandan woman has 38 children, including four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and twins, a local politician said on Wednesday, County Councillor Samari Musenero said Mariam Nabatanzi from Kabimbiri village, about 50 kilometres north-east of the capital Kampala, had all the children with the same man.
